Watches World - Men's and women's H. Moser & Cie watches.
In 2006 , the chamber brand from Schaffhausen H. Moser & Cie unexpectedly received a prize for his debut model at the prestigious Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve competition. Moreover, in the category of "the best complex watches", although, at first glance, nothing particularly striking was observed in the classic three-shooter with a big date. But, as it turned out, it was this model that fully embodied the main postulate of watchmaking: craftsmanship is in the details. And the power of H. Moser parts & The cie is that there are a lot of them.
Heinrich Moser, the founder of H. Moser & Cie, came from a watchmaking family
When purchasing a watch with a complication, even from a very famous manufacturer, their owner necessarily receives a thick instruction with a set of important rules highlighted in bold. Don't turn the head there, don't switch the date here, before pressing the corrector, press and hold the other one, and so on — it takes a lot of time and diligence to figure out a complex chronometer. Whereas the numerous innovations of H. Moser & Cie are focused only on improving the convenience of work and the practicality of using watches in everyday life — what is commonly called usability in the technical world. At first glance, it may seem that Moser watches are too simple and no different from dozens of others. However, it is worth taking them in hand — and even a short acquaintance makes you feel a deep respect for them. Every detail is thought out and created not in order to surprise at the exhibition, but in order for the owner to enjoy any touch of a mechanical device. This philosophy of the company has deep roots. It is worth telling about them in particular.
H. Moser & Cie was revived in the XXI century thanks to Dr. Jurgen Lange, who worked for IWC for many years. Having gathered a small group of investors, Lange founded the watch company Moser Schaffhausen AG in 2002, the honorary head of the board of directors of which was the great—grandson of Heinrich Moser - Roger Nicholas Balziger. About the official launch of the production of wristwatches under the H. Moser brand & The Cie was announced in 2005 — the year of the bicentennial of Heinrich Moser's birth.
The main idea of the brand was a classic round clock of perfect proportions in cases made of precious metals. There is nothing superfluous in the design, the emphasis is on the convenience of using the watch by its owner. And special attention to the creation of mechanisms. H. Moser & Cie is not a full-fledged manufactory, however, all calibers are designed by the company's engineers, and then are manufactured by carefully selected subcontractors. Such a scheme allows you to keep all documentation and copyrights for the brand, while not requiring multimillion-dollar investments and time to build your own production.
