As a good neighbor, State Farm is there, including in NBA 2K22. The American insurance company is a huge advertiser at prime-time sporting events in the United States, including the NFL and NBA, so it is perhaps not surprising to see 2K Sports sign a partnership with organizing and injecting advertisements into the game.
A quest in the PlayStation 5 version of MyCareer takes you to a mall to meet Jake, where he'll greet you in the neighborhood and give you a State Farm shirt and a bunch of MVP points. You can then head to the State Farm store to purchase more branded goods, like this ridiculous t-shirt with Jake emblazoned on it:

The clothes cost 15,000 VC, which equates to around € 3.99 / € 4.99 in real money. The game is actually full of publicity this year - more than ever - with daily quests requiring you to reach milestones in Adidas and Nike clothing, for example. There are also AT&T 5G display panels everywhere - even your in-game phone is network powered.
