You only need to follow the steps below to connect your Shopify Quickbooks Integration Account:
Step 1: In Shopify, download and install the Quickbooks app.
Step 2: Select 'Add App', then 'Install App.'
Step 3: Select the payment method you want to use.
Step 4: Agree to the terms of the agreement.
Step 5: Select 'Connect with Quickbooks' from the drop-down menu.
Step 6: A new pop-up window will appear, requesting you to authorize Intuit to exchange your data with Shopify or Quickbooks Online in a secure manner. Select 'Connect' from the drop-down menu. This will return you to Shopify, where you must pick the Quickbooks accounts to which Shopify should connect. The image below offers an example of what we've chosen for these accounts; however, this is entirely up to the individuals.
Step 7: The next step is to configure the payment fees.
Step 8: Then there are the tax options, product export options, and customer export options. It's worth noting that if you haven't set up taxes in QuickBooks, the tax settings won't have anything to link to, thus you'll need to set up VAT first before selecting the HM Revenue & Customs (VAT) option.
Step 9: Finally, there are the Export options and the pricing plan to consider. When you're finished, click 'Complete Setup.'
Step 10: The next step is to check your Quickbooks programme to determine if the app has been properly linked. This is shown in the overview tab of the company setup section. You've now successfully linked Shopify with Quickbooks.
